Taking a Swing: Custom Chipping Game for LIV Golf Indianapolis
Another project we delivered for LIV Golf’s Indianapolis event at The Club at Chatham Hills was a custom-built Chipping Game. Alongside the Racing Tower Bar, the entrance arch, and the trophy podiums, this interactive setup added a fun, engaging element that gave fans a chance to get hands-on with the action.
Our team was tasked with fabricating a game that was durable enough for thousands of swings, yet easy to assemble on-site. Built with a framed plywood structure and finished with turf flooring, the game was designed to mimic the feel of a golf course while keeping the setup safe and spectator-friendly.
The structure itself was built from ½-inch plywood panels, reinforced with a timber frame for strength and stability. The build included sloped surfaces and barriers to keep golf balls in play, while still giving participants the feel of a real golf challenge. The front and side walls were wrapped with custom graphics featuring LIV Golf branding, making the installation not only functional but also visually striking.
Once the event kicked off, the chipping game quickly became a fan favorite, drawing in both seasoned golfers and curious first-timers. Seeing fans line up and cheer for each other reminded us of the impact these custom builds can have in making an event truly interactive.
Want to make something memorable? Whether it’s a custom game, brand activation, or large-scale event build, our team at Chicago Fabrications can make it happen. We design and deliver experiences that leave a lasting impact.
